企業間データ活用のための共通の「言語」を提示する、といっているのかな。BIパッケージとか作って売ってるSIerとしては、避けて通れない分野だけど、まったくもって自分はこのあたりに疎い。。。

閑話休題。

上の記事で、「ビジネス・テクノロジー・アゴラ」という場の概念について語られていて、気になりました。

"Business Technology Agora": a place where IT and business people meet, make decisions, and prepare for action. Like in the old Greek cities, this agora proves to be a catalyst for dialogue, a gathering place for different stakeholders to reach out to the others and improve understanding.

ビジネス・テクノロジー・アゴラ：

ITとビジネスの人たちが出会い、決定をし、アクションの準備をする場所。古代ギリシャの都市のように、このアゴラは、異なる利害関係者が、他のものにはたらきかけて理解をより深めるために、対話を促進する場所を提供する。

なんだか、ずいぶん、ウツクシイイメージですね。

筆者がかかわってきたのは、オンタイムのアゴラなんだろうけど。たとえば、DevLOVEのようなコミュニティでの、会社や業種を超えたダイアログの場は、もしかするとオフタイムでのアゴラといえるのかも。
